DO IT, BUY THE BOOK - OCTOBER CHALLENGES

I had the best September! My reading was awesome! There were so many books I finished and loved. What a fantastic time. I can not wait to jump into the SpooooOoOoky season with this month's challenges. 

Challenge 1 - Read a book that came out during your birthday month.

Challenge 2 - Read a Halloween/Spooky book.

Challenge 3 - Read a book set in Autumn. 

Challenge 4 - Read a book that has been recommended by someone else.

Challenge 5 - Pick of the month is sort of a group pick! "We Have Always Lived in the Castle" by Shirley Jackson.

'Charmed' - The Book Series - Part 1 - A Witchy Primer

By Fay Clark Part 1 - The Overview If you are anything like me, you will be aware of the hit 90's TV show Charmed . T hree sisters discover that they are descendants of a line of female witches and that they are destined to fight against the forces of evil, using their combined powers of witchcraft. Season 1 Episode 1 - The Power of Three I was obsessed with this show and I still am. It ran for 8 seasons and has 178 episodes. It was filled with love, laughter and good life lessons. Charmed showed you the true meaning of sisterhood in every iteration you could think of, and even a few that you were unlikely to dream of. Prue, Piper and Phoebe Halliwell were in their early-mid 20s when they discovered their true destiny, and powers. Anyone who followed the show would know that there was a cast change after the 3rd season finale in 2001. Writer Tom King and artist Gabriel Hernandez Walta created a strange premise for the old-school Avenger Vision. They gave him a family. On paper, Vision with family hijinks sounds ridiculous and cheesy, but instead, it turned out to be a haunting, character-defining master class on comic storytelling. Let's break down 2015's Vision series. "All Will Return to Normal" Writer: Tom King Artist: Gabriel Hernandez Walta Color Artist: Jordie Bellaire Letterer: VC's Clayton Cowles Review by Eric Lee Vin is dead and Vision's brother Victor Mancha is responsible. Due to the events at the end of the last issue, the Avengers put the surviving Vision family members under house arrest until they can get things sorted out.
